1,000+ words

Original, in-depth writing — long enough to actually answer the question.

2–3 business days

Our editorial response time for every pitch that follows the guidelines.

One author link

A full author bio with a single relevant, dofollow link back to your site.

Promotion included

Published pieces go out to our newsletter and social channels.

We publish contributed articles from marketers, developers, founders and writers who have something specific to say. There is no fee for editorial submissions that meet the standards below — we accept on usefulness, not on who is asking.

Submission guidelines

What we look for in a contributed article

These are the same standards our own writers work to. Follow them and your pitch goes straight to an editor.

1. Pitch the topic first

Send two or three working titles with a short outline of the angle. It saves you writing something we have already covered.

2. Write for the reader

Our audience is business owners, marketers and developers. Assume intelligence, not prior knowledge of your product.

3. Show your evidence

Screenshots, data, or a walk-through of something you actually did. Link to primary sources, not to listicles about them.

4. Format it properly

Descriptive H2 and H3 subheadings, short paragraphs, and a Google Doc or plain text file we can edit.

5. Include an author bio

Forty words, a photo and one link. That link should point somewhere a reader would genuinely want to go.

6. Expect edits

We copy-edit for clarity and house style, and we will come back to you if anything needs a source or a rewrite.

Accepted niches

Topics we publish

If your subject sits next to one of these, pitch it anyway — the list is a guide, not a wall.

Quality standards

What gets published — and what does not

We publish

  • Original, unpublished writing of at least 1,000 words.
  • A clear structure with descriptive H2 and H3 subheadings.
  • Claims backed by a source, a study or first-hand experience.
  • Practical examples, screenshots or data your reader can use.
  • One short author bio with a single relevant link.
  • Images you own or that are properly licensed, with alt text.

We decline

  • Spun, scraped or unedited AI-generated content.
  • Casino, adult, pharmacy, loans or crypto-trading topics.
  • Affiliate links, tracking parameters or redirect chains.
  • Thinly disguised press releases or product brochures.
  • Articles published elsewhere, in whole or in part.
  • More than two external links to the same domain.

Editorial policy

How we handle contributed content

Every submission is read by an editor. We accept a piece on its usefulness to our readers, not on who sent it — and we say no more often than we say yes.

  • Ownership: You keep the copyright and grant us a perpetual licence to publish the article here. We ask that you do not republish the same text elsewhere.
  • Editing: We edit for clarity, grammar, structure and house style. Anything that changes your meaning comes back to you first.
  • Links: One dofollow link in the author bio. In-article links must be relevant and non-commercial; anything promotional is removed or marked nofollow.
  • Disclosure: If you have a commercial interest in something the article recommends, say so. We will disclose it in the byline.
  • Corrections: Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are reported, with a note on the article where the correction is material.
  • Removal: We may unpublish an article that later turns out to breach these standards, without a fee refund where one was paid.
